The Country Club Plaza at Night

This gallery comes from a night in Kansas City at the very beginning of the COVID era, just before everything changed. I was in town for my first Duolingo in-person event, which also ended up being the last as those gatherings quietly disappeared in the months that followed. With the evening open, I met up with a fellow photographer and spent time shooting around the Country Club Plaza. These images reflect that night, a mix of conversation, exploration, and capturing the city after dark, holding onto a moment that, in hindsight, marked the end of a certain kind of normal.
